Cédric Pinto
Born in 1981 in the South-West of France, he undertook studying the cinema and the audiovisual in 1997. With some friends (now his assciates), he then directed his first short film. Having settled in Paris, he became quite experienced in scientific, social, and environmental documentaries. Within the renown company Gédéon Programmes, he worked with ARTE, France Television, Canal +. Fighting social and environmental injustices, he got sinvolved in counter-culture, which led him to make the documentary Versus. With his old friends, he decided in 2007 to found an audiovisual production company, "Bandita Films", with which he is currently making a number of films.

Only means of expression of those one won't see, Hip-Hop develops in a parallel, underground system. Stimatized by the media, the artists of this movement born in the Bronx in the early 70's finally appear as they really are : genuine and sincere. Through the endaring portrait of a handful, among them the talented improviser Aladoum, this documentary takes us on a tour of the unkown and fascinating of the « battle matches ».
